Summary: This position is responsiblefor assisting the site manager in all operating strategies and account development at the client location. Responsibilities include following up on site manager's interviews, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.




• Oversee all day to day operations of facility management including: supervisors, maintenance activities, safety protocol, janitorial functions, grounds activities, and all other requirements specified in the contract.
• Assist Site Manager in all functions deemed necessary including, paperwork, scheduling, and documentation.
• Attend daily site meetings with customer personnel from different groups (i.e.: QNPM, PSRB, etc.) and assign work and pass down information to staff and ensure CFMis compliant with all requirements.
• Learn customer's safety requirements, and ensure that all staff and subcontractors are trained in and fully comply with the customer's and CFM'ssafety policies and procedures. Review all safety incident reports and corrective actions to prevent future recurrence. Observe safety practices and conduct safety briefings for all Leaders & supervisors.
• Review the Site Operating Plan (tasks, frequencies, staffing, methods, material & equipment) to comply with the contract, satisfy customer expectations and ensure worker safety.
• Adjust operations to respond to customer concerns and suggestions.
• Identify client's senior managers and encourage feedback on performance. Resolve any major complaint or problem immediately and ensure root cause corrections are implemented.
• Identify new business opportunities for projects, contract staffing, and new services.

Education and/or Experience

Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.



Communication Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


Customer Service Skills

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but noninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Positive attitude to promote successful team environment and strong work ethic and sense of integrity.



Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
