This position is overseeing all skilled tradesmen on site under the maintenance portion of the business. Responsible for proper function of the business for all supervision and maintenance personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for project planning and tracking of all maintenance related projects to completion within the allotted timeframe, as well as reporting to customer and requestor of project timelines, progress, and completion. Responsible for reporting to Site Director and Customer on a daily basis.
• Responsible for overseeing the tracking and completion of all PM's and CM's in accordance with appropriate timelines. Responsible for reporting out completion to Site Director and Customer Daily.
• Ensure response times as set by KPI's are reached and maintained for all Help Desk Calls, and documentation of Help Desk calls are maintained for verification of completion and reporting to customer.
• Responsible for leading Salary Technical Supervisors and Hourly Skilled Tradesmen in problem resolution and continuous improvement to achieve customer satisfaction. Will actively participate in project planning to enhance overall performance and successful outcome of all projects.
• Direct activities through Salary Technical Supervisors and Skilled Tradesmen to attain production goals consistent with safety, quality, delivery, housekeeping and waste elimination.
• Oversee parts ordering process in conjunction with project completion for accuracy, timing and reporting for all CM's and Help Desk Requests.
• Ensure all items outlined by SOT"s are addressed and prioritized through project planning.
• Review the root cause analysis to evaluate equipment and manpower resource requirements.
• Ensure all metrics of the BPD process are followed, tracked, and reported from the Level 3 Board down to the Level 5 Board. Ensure all countermeasures are adequate and in place for red items, all goals reflect SMART Targets, and open PPS documents are in place at all levels.
• Drive and promote CIP's at all levels of the business.
• Responsible for ensuring all safety incidents are reported within the appropriate timeframe and contain the level of detail required by the CFM Safety Department.
• Accountable for consistent application of policy and procedures throughout the plant, including both attendance and corrective action to include disciplinary actions as outlined in the CFM Handbook and in accordance with the National Agreement.
• Attend all planning and coordination meetings with plant engineers across a wide spectrum of project assignments to include but not limited to weekend planning, downtime planning, bus outage, etc.
• Assists in establishing budgets and resource requirements for planned maintenance and manufacturing projects. This includes forecasting manpower, equipment and material needs.
• Handling the discipline of all subordinate salary and hourly employees when required.
• Establish and monitor standardized work and ensure standardized work is being improved upon for accuracy and detail to reflect relevant information of safety, ergonomics, and materials required.
• Ensure all SOT's, Audits, LA's, are completed as required throughout all levels of subordinates.
• Oversee project completion by various contractors across all areas of maintenance. Ensure quotes are accurate, scope creep is monitored, and PTP's are appropriate for all levels of the project.
• Ensure all work being performed is "In Scope Work". Oversee that all work as defined within our scope is being completed and to the required frequency. Ensure all work as self-performed by CFM employees is clearly detailed within our scope of work.
• Clear roadblocks as required for all Salary Technical Supervisors and Hourly Skilled Trades. Escalate early and often, any concerns or roadblocks that are out of your control.
• Compile all information contained in trades and salary EOS's from previous 24 hours into a polished, prioritized, concise, document to be reviewed daily with Site Manager and distributed to customer.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelors of Science in Engineering or Construction Management and/or holds a Journeymen card and/or 8 years of skilled trades or Industrial Maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong manufacturing and business knowledge is preferred. Previous experience overseeing Union Skilled Trades preferred


Communication Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Customer Service Skills

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but noninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Positive attitude to promote successful team environment and strong work ethic and sense of integrity.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
