Quality Representative



Department: Quality/EHS

Reports To: Quality Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt





Summary Responsible for training employees on Quality Practices (Standardized Work, GMS, OS-1, etc.) as well as Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) processes and procedures.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.




• Understand, comply with, and communicate company EHS and Quality processes
• Work with site managers, supervisors, hourly employees, and customers to ensure proper training on CFM safety and quality processes.


• Standardized Work (generally janitorial)
• GM-GMS (Global Manufacturing System)
• OS-1 (Clean for health process) -- GM Team Cleaning Process
• Quality Audits
• New Hire and Refresher Safety/Environmental Training
• Coach managers on quality/safety responsibilities.


• Demonstrate processes in Supervisor Safety Book
• Assist with business plan deployment (BPD)
• Assist with GM-GMS calibration
• Assist with quality audit calibration
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards; ISO 9001 requirements, OHSAS 18001 requirements; ISO 14001 requirements; and customer and company rules and policies.
• Play lead role in transitions to new customers
• Assist with the development of standardized work and pre-task safety plans
• Tracks and schedules site training to ensure it is up-to-date
• Deliver required training programs for all employees


• Manage classroom environment -- Keep control of class, defuse inflammatory comments and questions




• Ensures training records are maintained per company procedure.






• Promote continuous improvement.

Education and/or Experience



Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.



Language Skills



Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.



Reasoning Ability



Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.



Computer Skills



To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Training software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.
